February

February was pretty laid back, we had a fun valentines day and just enjoyed each other. At the end of the month we celebrated Grandma Nielson's Birthday!! We bad a blast throwing her a surprise party!!

Open gymnastics with our good friends Evan and Sam!

Fun at home!

Out for a walk to the indoor track so mom can run!

Face painting with dad!

January

We started out the year with everyone getting influenza...YUCK!!! It was miserable! It knocked you out for at least a week and then took a couple weeks to get back to normal energy levels. Poor little Roey, he got it bad and was so weak and sick :( it broke my heart to see him so sick.

We still have lots of snow, and some HUGE icecicles!! If you look close this house has an icecicle that's about 6 feet long, and really big around!

Mega Legos, for the boys, are always fun, especially during winter when it's too cold to play outside!

For Abby, it's fun with Barbies!! Thank you Mal for sending these fun things to make winter so much more bare able!

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY ABBY DEAR!!!!!!!

You are such a sweet little girl with a strong spirit! You are a great student and you love school! You love reading chapter books and reading the Friend magazine. You are always a great example to your brothers and always watching out for them! I'm so glad that you were sent to our family when you were. I'm so grateful that you are so forgiving and mindful of others. I don't know what I would do without you!!! :) I love you to the moon and back!!

This month we went to Colorado to visit our great friends the Sanders...our kids call each other cousins!! :)

We went bowling, hiking, ate good food and laughed A LOT!!!

Bowling was such a blast with 8 kids! They all did great and it was fun to watch!

Hiking was COLD, but sooo much fun! I have to admit I was not pleasent about the idea at first, I was freezing cold, I was having to carry a fussy, heavy 1 year old the whole time and I was really nervous about the kids sliding off a cliff with all the snow and ice, but as time went by we ended up having a lot of laughs that brought back such good memories!! Janae always does that to me...she pushes me out of my comfort zone and I always end up having fun!! :)

After our hike we went for some BBQ at Dickies, and it was soooo good!! Free ice cream too!

As we were sitting there waiting for our food this older gentleman came over to our table and told us we had the most well behaved kids he's seen in about 10 years!! All four of us parents were feeling pretty proud!! We do have AMAZING children!!

On our way home we visited the Vernal, Utah Temple!
