Back in October when I quit breast feeding Rowen he started breaking out with eczema on his legs and arms. I didn't think much of it because it was turning fall and all of our skin gets bad when it starts getting cold. But come January he was pretty bad off, broke out all over his face too and it was raw, cracked and would ooze and bleed! His mouth was broke out in thrush and his eyes constantly had green puss coming out of them like an eye infection (but no one else on our family was ever sick with it). He was very congested in his nose and his chest would wheeze every time he took a breath. So sad!! He wouldn't sleep at all at night and would scratch his skin to blood. It was so hard on me to see him sooooo uncomfortable! :( I kind of thought it might be a yeast over growth like Abby had when she was his age so I started not giving him any sugar or breads. I got him into a Homeopathic Doctor in town after going to the Pediatrician and being told it was just eczema. Yes it was eczema, but eczema is caused by your body telling you something is wrong inside!! When I told the Pediatrition this he told me it wasn't true and there has always been a big debate over that subject. So my mother instinct told me I needed to go to a different doctor. I tried for 3 months going to this Homeopathic Doctor here in town and he finally said he didn't know what else to try and gave me the name of another Homeopathic Doctor he knew. I went a couple of times to him but just wasn't feeling like it was the right thing. In the mean time Rowen was only getting worse and FAST!! By now his ENTIRE body was broke out except the bottoms of his feet and the insides of his hands! His hands and feet would turn purple all the time...I just knew something bad was wrong and he needed help NOW!!! After praying hard, the next day I talked to this lady in my ward that said she felt impressed to tell me about this dr her mom worked for. He was about an hour away but he practiced homeopathic and was a regular MD physician. She had her mom get Rowen an appt the next Wednesday and I took him in, they drew his blood and confirmed it was a massive overgrowth of yeast in him caused by the mold he was exposed to in the house we lived in when I was pregnant with him until he was 7 months old. The mold had kept him from being able to build an immune system and made the perfect environment for yeast to take over his body. My nursing him and him getting my antibodies while nursing was the only thing that kept him from getting too overgrown with yeast until I stopped nursing and his body couldn't stand on it's own. That's why he broke out when I quit nursing and continued to get worse from there. They gave him some supliments for the yeast, his skin, and his immune system and he was looking better in a month and in 2 months it was gone!!! I will forever be grateful to Carrol for following the spirit and to Heavenly Father for answering my prayers! I truly feel like Rowen was dying and I am so grateful my prayers were answered!!

{Abby's Art Show}
Abby's school had an art show on Thursday evening. The families were invited to come and if you wanted to, you could purchase the art they've done throughout the year to help support the school. I love this elementary school they always make everything so fun and family friendly! They had photo booths, cookies and art projects for the kids to do. It was fun and Abby was so excited to show us her art! :) we bought Abby's masterpiece for $1.00 (someday we won't be so poor ;) ) she was happy and satisfied, and that's what really matters!!
{Hiking at Cress Creek}
This was such a fun Friday Family Fun-day!!! This was also our first full day without daddy :( he left yesterday for Wisconsin. I was going crazy missing him and decided to keep us busy having fun to help make it a little easier, so when Abby got home from school we packed some sandwiches and drove out to this trail to try it for the first time, it was SUPER FUN, and we will definitely be going back this summer!! There was a sign at the beginning warning us of poison ivy and rattlesnakes. Of course Jace couldn't wait to get on the trail and looking for the ivy and snakes, while Abby asked if we could stop and say a little prayer that we would be safe and not find any snakes! :) I was glad we did not come across either on the trail, Jace was disappointed and by the end Abby was relaxed and enjoyed the hike. After the trail ended and we were back to the beginning we were all tired out! We came back to Rexburg, got some dinner, had a movie party, face timed daddy had family prayer and went to bed!! Such a fun day :) I'm so grateful I have these wonderful children to spend this life with and that help me prepare to be who I need to be for eternity! I love you all!!! :)
